About Us
Formally, we are a privately owned company that is owned and operated by physical therapists Who share one common goal: provide every patient we see The best care we can give them every time we see them.
We recognize that every patient has individualized and personalized goals in rehabilitation and in life. At the core of our treatment philosophy we have one motivation...
We want to help you achieve your goals!
Where We Started
AMPT originally began with a common interest in research. As we learned more and more about vestibular rehabilitation and concussion management, we recognized gaps in the literature and clinical practice. We recognize that the human body is "fearfully and wonderfully made" - Psalms 139:14; and it is our goal to add to the body of knowledge for both diagnosis and intervention for treatment. We have traveled all over Texas and the U.S. to present our research and provide continuing education to other professionals in the area of Concussion and Vestibular Rehabilitation.
Where We Are Going
As we continue to pursue our research, we also strive to excel in clinical practice treating the community in and surrounding the greater Houston area. Thus we have set out in a private venture to provide the people in Houston with one more options for excellent outpatient physical therapy services. We know that patients each have their personal needs; and we strive to make your experience with us both professional and personalized to your individual needs. You are a person first and you will be treated as such here at AMPT. We have added our own personal touch to AMPT throughout every step of its formation and even construction.
What We Are About
Informally, we are a small group of therapists that feel we have something special to offer to people in need. Individually and collectively we are about providing exceptional care and service to people who need us. Bottom line. We strive to work closely with you, your physician, and the rest of your support and/or medical team to provide the care you want and need.
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous." - Joshua 1:9. Regardless of your physical needs we can help you accomplish your goals; and if we can't then we will get you to the people who can. We are here for our patients, first. Our goal is to get you back to your life, free of as much disability or fear as possible.
